EQUANIMITY
Today I really wanted to focus on being/feeling balanced and less scattered. In other words – equanimity, which is this week’s theme.
I started my day with a mala meditation and meditative walk around the neighborhood. I went down some streets I hadn’t been on before, and really stayed present to the experience, drinking in all the beauty and the different ways people expressed themselves in a neighborhood of what was originally very similar houses built in the 50s and 60s. It was a beautiful morning and a beautiful way to get centered and clear for my busy day.
I worked much more productively and with an inner calm all day. That was super!
I did not find more time in my day for journaling or yoga, but I am working on focusing on what is good in my world, and not on what I’ve done WRONG.
